Formosa Cafe

I love the Formosa cafe why is it shutting down? It's a famous iconic cafe and it's a Hollywood gem. Please don't shut down

Server was great. Found a corner booth to celebrate a small birthday night out. Would come again.

Pretty nice spot. The rooftop is where it is at. The food was pretty good as well. I had the chicken fried rice which was good. Definitely a nice date location on the roof top

Neat cafe/bar that is FILLED with local history. They do stand up comedy on Friday and Saturday nights, which is how I happen to stop by. The patio located in the back was smaller than I thought it would be. They have two full bar locations, one inside and the other one is on the small patio. Inside was very dark and difficult to see at first, but after my eyes had adjusted, I was in shock by all the awesome pictures and history that surrounded me. Very surreal.

They have a few great beers on tap and the pricing is decent, but the mixed drinks seem to be lacking. They were filled with too much ice and they pour the alcohol lightly for the price you pay. I have been to nearby bars that you pay more for the trendy drink, but they still managed to give you a little buzz after 2 drinks. Not this place, your better off getting a beer buzz.
