Kura is one of the best spots in town. Daniel is not only a world class chef but also an artist. He carefully crafts each meal with precision, taste and timeliness. His deep understanding of gastronomy allows you to take a flavorful journey through each fish he serves you. I have spent a lot of time at the bar and everytime I visit he is working on something new, exploring and experimenting with new flavor combinations and textures. His omakse is rooted in tradition but driven by innovation. I highly recommend Kura for an unforgettable experience.

Great sushi options and extremely reasonable prices! The eel roll as well as the butter roll (tuna) are my favorites.

Wonderful sushi, phenomenal service, great environment all around. I’d recommend the whiskey soaked salmon - it is delicious but it does taste more smoked than whiskey. The rolls Royce roll was the hands-down best sushi roll I’ve ever had!

Excellent, fresh curated sushi. Chef is extremely humble but actually has very impressive pedigree—worked at multiple Michelin star restaurants and trained with sushi master.

First night in LA, we were tired and hungry from traveling. Quick google of nearby sushi and Kura popped up. Sooo glad we chose to go there. Amazing, fresh sushi with very friendly staff. Just let the staff choose the nigiri. You will not be disappointed. Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had.
