Abso-freaking-lutely amazing Chicken Torta. Not on the menu yet but maybe it will be soon. Customer service top notch. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely stop by

This review is an attempt to provide respectful, constructive criticism because I understand how hard it is to run a business and I do, truly, want to see change: More people are vegan in Los Angeles than you might think. It matters that your vegan food is bad, especially in a city with so much excellent vegan food. There is no reason to offer vegan options if they are going to be flavorless, textureless and without spice. I'm specifically talking about the vegan queso, the salsa, the potato and avocado taco (which might not have been vegan, my server wasn't sure and neither am I) and the rice and beans. Even my dog wouldn't eat a fingerful of the beans, which was insane, because she will eat anything. Again, I'm trying to be respectful - if you care at all, please have someone taste test your vegan food. Someone who is aware of other delicious tex mex restaurants in LA with vegan options, like Home State, Casita del Campo, Gracias Madre and Mi Corazon, all of which are at price ranges on either side of this place. There's no reason for your vegan food to be worse than the regular food. It's 2022, not 1997. Vegans know what good food tastes like, and it's just lazy. Just taste it! I'm begging you. Add a hot pepper or two. Some garlic. A jalapeno. This goes particularly for the salsa, which again, with all due respect, tasted like when I try to make salsa using my vitamix and a recipe I found on the internet - in other words like water and tomato and nothing else. On the other hand, the wine and the vegan impossible taco were both great.

The flautas, brisket enchiladas, chicken burrito and tacos were very good. Lots of taco options but we really liked the bacon, egg, and cheese one and the potato and avocado one. The service was good, beer was cold, atmosphere was perfect. We’ll definitely come back and try the rest of the menu.

Really good food! Had the steak, brisket and shrimp tacos and all were awesome, definitely some of the best in West Hollywood. Perfect place to grab a beer and watch the world go by on the Sunset Strip.
