First time and was not impressed 😕. They brought salad and pasta all at once. This is supposed to be upscale restaurant. The plates are big so you can share and mention to waiter and waitress for additional plates, but they were slow in coming. Finally used bread plates. Pasta was OK a little mushy but good taste. Suggestions to future customers don't place your main order until you finish your salad or soup, if you you don't you'll be eating cold pasta. 😉
Hello 19Seventy, I'm a big Fan...
First off, the atmosphere is amazing. Love that the bar area is separate from the dining area, Super Smart... They even have a cute outdoor patio ...
We went for lunch and all of our plates were Delicious. We heard other guests comment on how happy they were with the food and service...
We are planning to go back with friends and enjoy happy hour. You should give it a try.
It's the best kept secret...
We tried 19Seventy tonight for the first time. We were greeted by the manager Alex who made some recommendations. What a lovely meal we had. We started craft cocktails and the truffle arancini that was tasty. We ordered the tomato bruschetta that was so delicious. Everything was so fresh. Yummm! Then onto our main course, we ordered the rib eye that had amazing flavor and the table side short rib pappardelle. The short rib was so very good, I can’t begin to tell you how scrumptious the pasta was. An absolutely amazing meal. We look forward to going back!
9.5/10
Absolutely loved coming here. Our server Alex was extremely friendly and made sure everything we ordered was halal friendly. She answered all of our questions and was extremely attentive.
It was great meeting chef David as well. Enjoyed chatting with him about the halal options …hope to see more halal friendly menu items in the future.
Now let’s get to the food. Everything was exceptionally tasty. The meatballs were juicy, the bread they are sitting would not be missed it it was removed 🫣. Replacing it with garlic bread on the side would be a great move (mini meatball subs 🤔). The fried mozzarella was a classic. Chicken Alfredo pizza was a must! Absolutely delicious, and if you get it and think the chicken is pink /undercooked. It’s not. Chef explained the color is due to the sumac marinade which is extremely delicious.
The short rib pappardelle was a smash. The pasta has the perfect amount of bite, and the short rib was tender.
Dessert was yum! The chocolate mousse raspberry cake was the perfect amount of sweet. Just wish it was served on a different bowl/plate it was hard to scoop up.
The chocolate tart was my favorite.
Overall, one of the best new restaurants I’ve tried in forever. Would 100% come back here for the service and the food.
A note for my halal friendly friends: if you order the short rib pasta - you’re going to have to let them know that you don’t consume alcohol - you also won’t be able to actually partake in the table side service as the cheese wheel has been used to flambé with alcohol
Hopefully in the future there are two cheese wheels, one for the halal friendly version and one for the regular version of the short rib pasta.
