    they never seem to have what we want nearly every time we go... service is also so so... had to wait for 3-4 minutes for someone to show up at the front counter... also often have homeless camping out and asking for money...

    I drove 1700 miles for a Winchell's Donut. I do it every year. I learned how to count change as a kid when I would ride my bike to the local Winchell's and buy a donut and have to tell my dad how much change I was to get back.

    Perfect quick coffee and donut for the road. Fresh donuts and coffee. Witnessed a server going out of her way to assist a wheelchair bound woman with speech problems order, pay, and even helped with securing her purchase.
    It was awesome!
