Jack's Whittier Restaurant

A dining experience lost in time. Food is decent, coffee decent.. kinda pricey but what isn't these days? Service was fine, parking is not ample but it is existent. Enclosed patio with heaters available for larger parties.

I've been going to Jack's for over thirty years and have enjoyed everything about the place until recently when they started to make changes to Jack's. To me, Jack's has lost some of the charm it once had as being a local landmark. It now has the feel and look of ever other corporate cornered restaurant.

A Whittier institution for decades. Nothing lasts that long in the restaurant business unless they’re delivering quality and value. Classic coffee shop/diner selections on an extensive menu. Plus a varied selection of daily specials that few offer anymore. A delightful relief from the standard fare if you eat out often.

Attentive and accommodating staff. Generous portions prepared as ordered. The chefs actually read the tickets. Take out orders are popular and double checked to make sure nothing is missing.

The recently remodeled restrooms are surprisingly upscale and spotless. Exterior covered patio for pleasant weather and larger groups.
The only local restaurant open late.

This place really deserves a 5-star rating. Their food is delicious their prices are amazing Services excellent!!! All three of us that went to have dinner had the shake. We had the Oreo and the strawberry the price was right The Taste was delicious and they were not stingy. For dinner I had Jack's Famous Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy corn on the cob and cheese garlic bread. I literally had half a chicken I salad oh for an amazingly low price. A gem found in Whittier, East Whittier to be exact. If I live closer I be there all the time but I will definitely be there sometime soon because I have to explore more of their menu. I made my decision to try their spaghetti with meatballs next time. You won't be disappointed. There's plenty of parking and the ambient is very 50s. The place is so clean and welcoming. Definitely a Five Star Plus!

Great service and yummy food especially there carrot cake which is my all time favorite and the Wednesdays fried chicken dinner special that is my boyfriends favorite. The employees are awesome. You feel like your at home when you enter Jack's. No matter what you order you won't be disappointed.
