Service- The owners and workers there are always friendly and helpful. Ordering food was easy and the workers were patient. After ordering, the food came out promptly.

Environment- Bright, clean, and organized. Drinks, napkins, etc. are easy to find. The drink lids are pretty cool (no need for straws)! Plenty of places to sit, eat, and hang out. Great selection of music!

Food- You can always count on this place to have BIG, juicy, fried chicken. The tenders are huge as well as the chicken on the hot sandwich. The portions are generous for the price. The chocolate cake dessert is rich and moist. I really love the fresh, hand-cut fries, although, when it is advertised as “shoestring,” I expected them to be thinner. Still tasty fries though. My opinion is that the original sauce could be more of a sauce-y consistency than oily.

I’ll be coming back for more spicy fried chicken!

I had the Mac Bird Sandwich combo for 10.99 My plate definitely came with a lot of food for myself. The chicken was good, but the fries were kind of plain. Overall the place was not bad, but I can’t say it’s anything special.

The chicken is really tender and juicy, and the flavor is delicious! My only 2 (minor) issues are the slaw and fries. The slaw is very creamy, but needs more flavor, pretty bland. I LOVE that the fries are hand-cut in store, and you can definitely taste the fresh potatoes compared the the frozen ones, that need to be over-fried to compensate for being frozen. I think the fries could use a little more salt, or some kind of seasoning (Cajun?).

The 2 women that were there on my visit very very kind, and super helpful with how the menu/ordering works. I'll definitely be coming back though. I have been wanting a fried chicken sandwich place like this in Whittier for a while now. We finally got it!
