(December 23, 2019, 4:42 am)Let me start by saying that we almost drove by the place. My parents live 2 minutes from there, and we'd seen the 'coming soon' sign, but the shopping center it's in has been half-vacant for so long, it made it unassuming.
Glad I got over the exterior impression, because the interior is completely different! The food was really good. They really do take on the Oaxacan pallette in their menu.
I had ordered an horchata. What I got was not what has expected. Oaxacan horchata contains a scoop of ice cream made of the nopal/cactus fruit and some nuts. If you mix it, it gives it a pinkish color. It's not a sweet drink (reminds me of a cold atole), and was very good.
