Nice laid back garden. Open Mics and Local bands, some quite good. Good selection of upscale beer and wines with friendly service.
My fiancé and I stopped at this wonderful place on our way into town.... we were intrigued by their wine tasting and that they offered food as well as we were starving from travel . With covid things are obviously a little different but we thoroughly enjoyed the wine, food and the Kind knowledgeable women that I assume are owners . Wonderful ambience and you can tell they truly love what they do . The menu was amazing and we opted to return on our way out of town 2 days later which despite ash falling from the fires and masks from covid ??♀️? again was wonderful... the music the food and again wonderful staff that make you feel welcome . I’m not sure if we’ll ever visit again but if we do we will definitely stop here and will always recommend to our friends!! ❤️
Fantastic! All of the wine and food was amazing and staff was incredibly friendly. We did a tasting and all the wine was great, we ended up taking home a few bottles of the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cabernet Franc (it was a close call with the Red Blend). Food was all delicious too (we had a charcuterie board, homemade tomato soup w/ a fancy grilled cheese, and roasted artichoke salad)! Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere in the Bass Lake / Oakhurst area!
During this time of Covid my husband and I were searching for a get away where we felt safe and we were lucky to find both the Idle Hour winery and Queens Inn on the River. The Inn is cozy and comfortable and close to both Bass Lake and Yosemite. The winery produces delicious wines our favorite being the Tempranillo. If you are fortunate, as we were, to visit on Fri and Sat the lunches are delicious and Sunday brunch excellent. Anna Marie and Mindy treated us like old friends. What a relaxing fun 4 days. We will definitely be back.
Awesome small place for a local wine tourist like myself. Great staff and friendly locals.
