REV's Farmhouse

If you want delicious food that simply can't be made at home this is the place to go. A blend of home-style and gourmet bistro I couldn't have asked for more!

First time and went for breakfast. It wasn’t busy when we were there. First thoughts- no televisions and no overbearing music :) - a great dining experience.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I enjoyed the help with deciding what to order and the suggestions Cindy provided us - she was spot on.

We had one Chicken Fried Steak and one egg breakfast. We both elected to have the biscuit for our bread - 1st suggestion that was right.

The homemade strawberry jam - sorry we used half the jar, it was sooooo gooood. Note the picture of the j was before we attacked it.

The hash browns were not from frozen, and the same for the country potatoes. They were both good.

The chicken fried steak and gravy were good and would be ordered again.

We will return to try lunch and dinner

I never review restaurants but had to for this one. Was so pleasantly surprised with everything. Sushi grade salmon fish tacos were awesome. And everything is so well priced! + Wendy is the best. We’ll be back tomorrow for breakfast.

It was interesting. We were traveling from Yosemite to Chowchilla and stopped in for lunch. The 'hostess' approached us and let us know that it would be a while for us to be seated so we could wait or go to the bar upstairs. We opted for the bar. Bit as we were walking upstairs, I overheard her telling the locals coming in (same sized party) that she could get them seated in 5 minutes...weird.

All and all, I'm glad we went up to the bar, only 2 other customers and quick service. The cream of mushroom soup was really delicious. My son loved the meatloaf sandwich and my husband liked the pastrami sandwich as well.

Aside from feeling like an outsider, food was good and bartender was kind. It was the hostess that made me feel like outsiders weren't welcome:(
