Best oysters I'd ever had. And the clam chowder is too! The view is amazing even when its rainy!
The Marshall store is a must try.
I've been coming here for the past 5 years. I first discovered this gem on accident, and thank goodness I did.
From fresh oysters to their delicious BBQ oysters, the Kilpatrick with Bacon & Worcestershire Sauce and the Rockefeller with Spinach, Cheese & Bread Crumbs are my favorites.
They also have beer for purchase and some awesome clam chowder soup. Other seafood and sandwiches are also available, but I only get the soup and oysters. It's about $18 for 6 raw oysters, a tad bit on the expensive side but worth every penny. These oysters are so fresh and delicious.
There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's right on the water and I love sitting outside. Staff are nice and friendly. There's zero service here, so make sure you download google maps prior to getting in that general area; they do have Wifi though.
I will continue to make my way here once a year to eat these oh so delicious oysters. The best part, they are local.
Delicious and well worth it. Expect to pay $20 on average for amazing food that is more of an experience than a meal. Paid $22 for six smoked oysters. These are the best in town. Big, meaty and cooked professionally. I recommend this place as a first stop especially for international tourists. Beer and wine available and recommended. Friendly environment.
This is my new standard for oysters! Fast service and great food. While the cooked options are interesting, people eat raw oysters for a reason, and these may have been the very best I have ever had. Strongly urge anyone driving in the area (point reyes) to take a quick stop here. Prices are reasonable, at about 3.70 an oyster for most dishes (6 per. Order)
This is the spot. Forget Hog Island. Forget Nick's Cove. The Marshall Store has excellent food and a great view. It can get a bit windy if you sit outside. But on a nice day you cannot beat it.
