The Cantina

Although I had an okay experience, it's a bit far and pricey for me. I didn't go there happy hour. I went for lunch. For two of us, no alcohol, no appetizer, it was $45 plus tip. My friend was upset because the tacos fell apart so fast that she couldn't pick them up to eat, she had to cut it and use a fork. My arroz con pollo had a red sauce and was completely different from any other I had and for the price I was sorley disappointed to not get what I was hoping for. It was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Staff were okay, desert took way long to receive. Bathroom was very far. Atmosphere was nice.

Excellent Mexican food and plenty of it!! Great service - endless chips and salsa and a generally clean place. Very attentive staff - food came quickly but was very well prepared. Would very much enjoy going again. I had the chimichangas and it comes with not one but two! I chose steak and chicken - one of each and was quite full when I left. My sister had the portobello mushroom fajitas and just look at the plate full of food!!

Service was good. The servers were attentive. The drinks were yummy. Food was underwhelming. There was no taste in the black beans or the rice. I ordered the veggie enchiladas. I am not sure why carrots would be part of the veggies since they are usually harder when cooked and that seems like the wrong texture. The crab enchilada my mom got was delicious. I also know that the fajitas are the favorite. I guess I ordered the wrong vegetarian item.

Good happy hour tacos. Reasonable margarita/wine/beer specials. The Tuesday crowd was older than what I expected but the bar/wait staff were young, cute and fun.

Excellent margaritas. Happy Hour prices are great. Pleasant and helpful staff. Very good food is you order other than the Happy Hour menu.
