Relaxed atmosphere. The staff were all sweet. I had breakfast for lunch, yummy.

Been visiting Sam's for over 10yrs now and always feel at home there. The people are great, the food is very good with sizeable portions while being very reasonable with pricing. Beto, the morning chef, has never made an incorrect and this is very telling of a quality restaurant. Consistently very good on all points! I send anyone who asks for a good restaurant to Sam's. Breakfast,lunch and dinner are always on point. Wonderful family owned/run establishment. Love it!

Give it a try, right next to the Novato Post Office.

The food is consistently good, prices match the quality and portions. Atmosphere is small town, down-to-earth. Service may be a bit slow to refill glasses when busy, but not enough to complain. In fact, the servers are warm and charming. There's a bit of live music -- check to see what and when-- that's fun to watch. So family friendly, and I never worry someone won't be able to find something they enjoy. Best fish and chips in town
