Comforts

Great breakfast today! Service was impeccable. Remarkable variety on the menu. Four of us each ordering a different dish and all of us were pleased. Local celebrity spotted across the room!

While they are famous for their Chinese Chicken Salad, the rest of their cafe menu is amazing as well. Our party had 1 CCSalad, 1 French Toast (regular, not the pecan-crusted cream cheese-stuffed version) and 1 panko-crusted fried (I think it was chicken?) lunch plate. The service was fantastic, and so many menu items looked delicious. The French Toast I enjoyed was amazing, Super thick challah bread (like 1 inch think), but not mushy in the middle at all, and very well crusted on each side. Everybody loved what they ordered, and took home the leftovers. It was a reasonable price for a good lunch, $21 each including a drink and nice tip.

Best breakfast food in the San Anselmo area. There's a quaint Cafe for people to wait in before the restaurant opens. Clean delicious food. Not a single complaint regarding the service, food or people. I normally get breakfast there before I hike and it's just enough to be filling and energize me for my hike.

My favorite Sunday go to for brunch.
I especially love their "Scones" and their "Chicken Okasan," but mostly everything in their menu is delicious.

My sister and I had the tofu Chinese salad. It was so flavorful and full of texture. The dressing was spot on. The portion was perfect. We will visit here again and will recommend Comforts to friends, family and tourists.
