    The sashimi is the truest to Japanese tradition and quality. 69 does not promote or market as one would presume. Maybe it's best selfishly not to write this recommendation? It is truly a great food
    establishment.

    The sashimi is spectacular! Generous thick cuts of fish. They also carry unusual Japanese draft beers hard to find stateside.

    This is our "go to" sushi place in Marin. It's traditional, rather than fancy cali-sushi, and we like that. The fish is always fresh, and the staff is always friendly.

    I’m eating there tonight. After which I will post a proper review. I did just call the place to reserve a table and was told they don’t do that. This strikes me as odd. Hence the 3stars so far

    Ok. It was delicious. I got the shrimp tempura with eel. That said. It was pricey. I’ve gotten used to that, but if your thinking it will be a cheap meal. I recommend you reconsider. The server was very polite and quick. It’s a tiny place, cozy.
