Theresa & Johnny's Comfort Food

Went to Theresa & Johnny's Comfort Food for breakfast for the first time. I got 2- pieces Crispy French Toast with Poached Eggs and Fresh Fruit. Everything was yummy! The French Toast was crispy from the outside and soft inside. The poached eggs cooked perfectly and the fruit was fresh. The service was also great!

UPDATE 02/24/19: Went back for a second visit. Was pleasantly surprised to see their new sign on the door to sign in even for the counter seating. Unfortunately, though the staff was super nice and my friend's food looked super good as did mine, I couldn't stomach the food. As we sat down, a brown cockroach was climbing the wall right next to me. I usually have a strong stomach, but I just couldn't stomach this. I just saw one and only one, but it was one to many for me. I just couldn't eat my food. Because of this I just couldn't do a 5 star but I thought the second time around was a 4 considered to a 1 on the first visit.

(first visit in January 2019) Took my son and his girlfriend here for lunch on their first visit here. Didn't stay to taste the food and the service wasn't that great. There were 3 chairs at the bar. We were standing there for a few minutes. A couple came in and a waitress flew over to them and asked if they wanted to sit at the bar. We couldn't understand why she didn't fly over to us and ask us the same question. Her response was that she didn't know if that third seat was "open". So how did she know the other two were?? We didn't stay...... :(

This place is very cool. My boyfriend is southern so he appreciates the food options here. Every time I visit for Sunday brunch there is something new and spectacular on the menu. The wait isn’t too long and it’s worth it. The entire staff is friendly plus they work hard. I really enjoy coming here. #greatportions

Everything was amazing! The French toast is to die for. And they have a good selection of hot sauce. You usually have to wait if you go on a weekend or at a peak time.

This place was pretty bomb! The Bacon & Bleu Burger was incredible! Tasted like a twenty dollar burger, cost like thirteen. Waiting for the train went from a long time to a lot of time enjoying the burger and tots. Service was fab, too! Five out of five, would recommend!!
