(March 2, 2019, 8:10 pm)In San Rafael you will be hard pressed to find a better Italian restaurant. They stick to the classics, so it is familiar. Very fresh and always good. Prices are in line with good restaurants in San Rafael and a bit lower than similar restaurants south of San Rafael. Decor is classic contemporary and the service is consistently good but will not knock your socks off. I have never been disappointed with a meal at La Toscana

(January 24, 2019, 1:31 am)Don't bother with the dining room (I am sure it is great), the bar is comfy, full service and you get Tony L. as your server/bartender. He makes a mean, but refined drink and he does it with flare and authenticity.
