Armida's Bakery and Cafe

Organic bakery in the heart of San Rafael. I came upon this cozy cottage looking place when I got off the beaten path of 4th street.

Worth finding!
Coffee and hot and cold sandwiches available but the variety of baked goods was so creative … I went for the sweets… the banana Meyer lremon bread/cake is a standout. And I loved loved loved the whole wheat very muffin.

Incredible flavors and healthy ingredients! Yay! . I no longer have to be sad that Arizmendi is gone from the San Rafael scene.

What a gem…. They even have an upright piano and a children’s books and game corner.

We like to discover new places and this is our new found gem.
Almond crossiant is amazing, as are all the delicacies and coffee we tried. The atmosphere is very local and relaxed. It was fabulous chatting with Armida and her love for the community. I would recommend each and everyone of you to give a visit to this lovely cafe space. Perfect to have a sip of coffee or have conversation at this lovely place.
