We were on our way to the airport and we were craving thai and we stumbled upon this place. First things first, the prices were a little more expensive than we are used to; although, we do tend to go to more divey restaurants because those places are the ones with the best authentic thai food. Bua Thai is a more upscale restaurant as evidenced by their location in Marin county.

We had the pad see ew and pad thai. We had to give it up to Bua thai as their food presentation was on point. Very good plating and perhaps that is why their prices are more expensive than other thai joints.

Overall, the food was great as expected since it is very hard to mess up thai food, in my experience. My gf loved her pad see ew and that is a ringing endorsement as she always orders the same dish at every thai place.

    Really delicious authentic Thai.
Ordered the rainbow salad to start, it was such a fresh and yummy mix of flavors and textures. The green curry with tofu was sublime, great balance between spicy curry and sweet coconut milk and perfectly cooked veggies. Even their water is delicious.
We will definitely visit Bua Thai again.

Food was great! Floors were sticky like other reviewers complained. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed getting a Groupon discount.

Delicious food. I've been to Thailand and the chicken satay is comparable.my husband ordered the fried chicken fried rice. The chicken was lightly breaded almost like coconut shrimp is. The meal was served with a small salad complete with dendrobium Orchid, which is edible if you didn't know. The dipping sauce for the chicken was tasty. I ordered the healthy clay pot..served with brown rice, lightly fried Tofu, peas, corn, taro, beans and cashew. Yummy and filling. Try this restaurant and you'll be satisfied.
