Poggio Trattoria

We almost always opt for poggio when in town and it's always solid. This most recent stop was fantastic, three of us had a total of 11 dishes and everything was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive and every dish was fresh and well flavored, really a great dinner.

From the moment we walked in until the time we left we were welcomed warmly and given the perfect level of attention. Every bite of food from the cauliflower custard to the beer salad to the pasta to the pizza and finally the desserts was delicious.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner in a quiet atmosphere which was surprising given the restaurant was packed. Service was fast and efficient (reservations in advance recommended). Seating was comfortable and service was prompt and generous. The food was amazing too. I enjoyed perfectly cooked octopus and beef ravioli. The pasta was light and thin and full of flavor. The pear salad was fresh and flavorful. They split the salad in two for us and we never needed a clean plate. I would absolutely love to eat here again.

delicious italian food, their Pizza was delicious and all fresh farm ingredients which makes it extra special. The service was slow, it took them a long time to bring the food and the server said that she will give us free desert but she never did, I mean don't mention it if you won't do it. The server recommended a cream with berries on top which was super delicious and savory, I highly recommend that you try that.

I go here only for special occasions. It is such a treat to go and order the porterhouse steak. Thus I reserve such occasions to date night with the plus 1. It was her first time there and judging by her beautiful facial expressions, the food was phenomenal. I 100% will return here for the steak. Pricey though, so only for the best of occasions.
