The Trident

My wife and I have eaten here a few times over the past 5 or 6 years whenever we find ourselves in downtown Sausalito.
The dining area is made up of several tiers as well as patio tables outside on the waterfront (weather permitting). This makes for a spectacular view of the San Francisco skyline from across the bay from almost every table.

The staff are welcoming and well informed on the menu offerings.
I had to try the fish special which was a Columbia River Sturgeon over gnocchi in a butternut squash puree with mushrooms. I have never seen sturgeon offered before any where I've ever eaten.

The dish was very impressive. The fish portion was a thick steak cut and was very moist and flakey without being too oily or fishy. Combined with the sauce and gnocchi, this dish had the perfect blend of flavors and textures.
The restaurant has a rich wood decor with a bit of a nautical theme overall. A great place for a romantic dinner.

Excellent seafood. Breathtaking views of the bay with San Francisco in the backdrop. Family friendly restaurant.
