Sugar Pine Cafe

This little breakfast shop is amazing! Our server Justin was awesome and he served up some of the best lemon scones I have ever had. The plates were huge and everything was delicious. But get the scones. Even though I was full, I bought an extra scone to go.

Good place to have breakfast when you're in the Mariposa area. But, it gets pretty crowded.

Great food in the town. Very reasonably priced. But watch out for the wait times, as preparing fresh food takes time. Small cafe but great on quality!!

We recently stayed in Mariposa for a couple days and had a nice breakfast at the Sugar Pine Cafe on Highway 140. This is a traditional American style diner that is open from 7am to 3pm daily.

This is a 1940s era diner which was originally called the Dairy Dell Diner. You'll find bar stool seats just in front of the grill and booths and small tables. Menu features expected breakfast, burgers and other orders traditionally featured on diner menus.

We found service to be friendly and fast. Importantly our breakfast tasted very good. We enjoyed the biscuits and sausage gravy which was a nice savoury order. The short stack of pancakes and side of bacon tasted just as we expected. Bottomless Pete's brand coffee tasted nicer than what we usually find at American diners.

In the end, we really liked Sugar Pine Cafe and would be a regular customer for breakfast if we lived in Mariposa. Nice job guys!

The most delicious pancakes I’ve had in my life! And believe me, as a real foodie, I’ve had my fair share of pancakes... The place is quite busy at breakfast time but staff are polite and friendly and do their best to accommodate everyone. Would definitely like to come back!
