The Californian Commissary

I recently visited this store and was blown away by its fantastic selection of freshly cut meats and cheeses. They had everything from prosciutto to salami, and the cheeses were equally impressive. I also loved the variety of supplemental pairings, like crackers and jams, that they offered. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this store to any food lover looking for high-quality charcuterie or planning for a perfect picnic in Yosemite or Mariposa.

Bought the "charcuterie in a box" to go with some wine we picked up in Napa. It was perfect. My husband loved everything in it. The store has so many items I would love if they fit into my suitcase. A definite must visit if you're in Mariposa.

Just had a lovely cheese board at The Californian and it was fabulous! Wonderful variety of California cheeses with all the fixings. The shop also has many delicious treats perfect for home or gifts for others. The owner Evan is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This place is ideal for picnics, concerts in the park or just a romantic night at home. Just wish we had one in my town!
