We arrived at this place for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was a winning. we were warmly welcomed by the staff and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was tasty. We loved this restaurant very much and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.
I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are appetizing and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we have a splendid time. highly recommended.
An excellent old worldly dining experience in this building from 1879. We stumbled across the restaurant after seeing the huge verandah area and white wooden building from the street. Staff are very laid back and personable, there can be a wait for a table during peak times. The menu rotates and was recently changed when we visited. There are a handful of excellent dishes to choose from which are cooked to perfection. You've got to try to trout, pea gnocchi, rich and creamy with strong flavoured fish. Not as many good vegan options.
Food is excellent, and the ambiance is just right. The restaurant captures the feeling one wants in order to experience the history of Yosemite. I'd say the building as a whole needs a bit of upkeep, noted by the surprising number of flies roaming through the dining hall. Don't let that stop you from giving it a shot, though. The food and friendly staff are worth the trip!
This restaurant will take you back to years ago in its decor and feel. The menu is comfort food and its prices didn’t seem out of line with how remote the place is. My partner had the pot roast and loved it. I had the stuffed trout which was also good but a little overcooked for my liking. The service was fine although the dining room was hot. Liked it but ate at Yosemite Village our second night here.
