I loved the vibe and the hospitality of this place. They have a very interesting drinks menu. My husband is a vegetarian and he was thrilled about that the fact that this place is vegan ! All the servers knew the menu well and they try to make sure that you have a good time. Highly recommend this place!

Good food, lovely service and quaint ambiance (great music selection!). We felt it was overpriced considering what we got but it’s a tourist town so just expect to pay $20+ for a plate of vegetables. If it wasn’t so expensive we would definitely go back.

We loved the meal here, had the garlic soup, fried oyster mushroom, pot pie, and banana pineapple cake. Everything we had was delicious, the service was great, and atmosphere was extremely pleasant with bright colours and modern French cafe music. Not sure why people complain about portions being small, must be true ‘Muricans used to the large XL portion sizes. We found the portion sizing to be perfect. It was one of the biggest personal pot pies I had ever had. As far as vegetarian places go, it was very gratifying.

This is my go to restaurant in Mendocino. The food is to die for and it hard to believe its all vegan too and the service is impeccable. Haley and her team are so kind and welcoming. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend this to anyone who wants great service and delicious food. Thank you Fog Eater Café your the best of the best.

My wife and I loved this place. We’re not vegans but we’re both lactose intolerant so we were both excited to not have to ask for no dairy. Staff were great and you can tell they care. There was a vibe. If you work in the service industry you know what I mean. Everyone who worked here said how much they loved my wife’s floral dress and there energy made us feel like we regulars.
The food was honestly better then I anticipated. I’m a chef and my wife and I are partners in our restaurant. I’m not saying that like it matters I just want to make it clear that I have only felt the need to write a few reviews about another business because I’m just not that guy. Im hard to impress and eating out is difficult for me because after you cook long enough you start to know what things taste like before you even eat it. When you take away the element of surprise with food the magic and mystery is gone.
That being said the gravy on the mash potatoes caught me by surprise. The food was light for being southern. You can tell it has a woman’s touch & The moon pie was literally not from this world 🚀🚀🚀 if your in Mendocino for an evening come here.
