El Chicano Restaurant

My family stopped here on a night of our road trip. We decided to get take out so we could continue on our way. The staff was very friendly, easy going, and straightforward. The restaurant was clean inside and out. The prices were very reasonable for the food and experience. The food was pretty good. The only thing I wish would be different would be a bit more flavor for the rice and beans but overall I would come here again. The nachos were amazing and so was the Chimichanga. Certainly worth trying!

In a town of 8 Mexican restaurants El Chicano stands out. This family makes the best Carnitas in the region. They also have an excellent tap selection with a bar area to watch games or TV. I've never had an issue and have been going here since opening day. They constantly are improving their place. Check out the mural.

We had a great time at the restaurant. We did not feel rushed at all. The food was tasty and fresh. I'm from San Jose and this restaurant is way better than the ones over there. The only missing authentic food item is fresh made tortillas. We will definitely be back.

this place is amazing! the Pollo con Crema, the fajitas, and the mole enchiladas deserving of special notice. the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. and the prices are so reasonable. they have many beers on tap and sell "pints" which are really 20oz... very friendly and attractive waitress all three times I went in. I recommend ordering two meals one to eat there and one to take home with you and leaving a very large tip.

Great food and atmosphere. The one and only down side is that after a 12 top came in we were pretty much forgotten about. Had empty drinks and had to hunt down the waiter to ask for a check so we could leave. But the wait staff is young and we all start out somewhere. Will definitely be back again though it's a great place.
