    Sort of friendly staff. Lots of parking. Not cheap but not outrageously expensive. Large gift shop. Easy to get to on and off the freeway. Interesting menu items.

    This place reminds me of my childhood memories! We would always stop by on our way to Solvang. Everything is exactly how I remember too! I had the split pea soup, salad and fresh bread. Delicious! They have quite a few items in their gift shop and homemade baked goods.

    Absolutely gorgeous place. Cute little store, spacious & clean restrooms, delicious fresh food, & very nice staff. Overall a wonderful experience. Definitely will go their again.

    The first time we were here it was mediocre at best. This time it was better. We love the bread that they serve with the pea soup and their portions are on the large size. There was a lot of folks sharing an entree and my kiddos were more than stuff with their kids meal

    Great little stop on the 5 fwy between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Charming Danish style restaurant. Good home cooking. Chicken salad sandwich was tasty. Bread rolls were fresh and soft. World famous Split Pea Soup was incredible. Ask for the extras to go with your soup which is a plate of diced ham, bacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced green onion. Definitely worth the stop!
