“My favorite go to Mexican restaurant whether drunk from the bar or sober on my way home from work. The employees are okay but love the night shift workers the best. Their never blah or rude or grouchy. Very welcoming and friendly. Location is very convenient but sucks that there is so much tweakin or homeless traffic that I'm sure prevents some people from going. But like they say, lots of the good places to eat are in the ghetto :P Pina no ice and a horchata please!!”

“I always get the vermicelli rice noodle bowl which taste good and fresh and their egg rolls are good too. Only thing is I always order take out and am waiting an hour every time. Even when they say 20 minutes. It also takes them way to long to make an avocado smoothie cause they don't measure they just keeping tasting it over and over until they think it's done.”

“My wife and I have been coming to this taco truck for nearly a year. We have found the quality of meat tends to be some of the top best in town. Quesadillas hardly ever disappoint and their burritos are usually always well prepared. Staff tends to take their time with each order therefore don't be surprised if your food takes a bit of extra more time than expected if they are busy. One of the best things we love about this place is their friendly service when you order. They are bilingual and can take your order in both Spanish and English. In addition their grilled onions taste bomb. No joke here. I usually try to ask for extra when I remember. Just adds great taste to tacos. I can go on without mentioning their tacos. Usually they heat their tortillas to a slight crisp and adds great texture to your tacos. Although super tacos don't have much difference to me from regular, some others might actually like the couple of additional the super tacos have. Tacos for the quality are priced reasonably at $1.50 each for regular. I'd recommend it versus super. Just make sure to get lime/lemon to add on and you'll be set. Finally I have to add their pastor(pork). I am from Mexicali where the pastor is incredibly bomb and not comparable to US pastor. However, this place has been my only place in the whole Central valley I'm willing to get pastor at. Every other place just doesn't make it the same way. I got a torta once and it seemed they might have dropped the ball on it. Cheese wasn't melted and it just tasted plain. Not their best. Haven't tried it again since we're staying away from it. Things to note for this place are 1) It is right on the same lot as a Chevron 2) Parking can be limited if you show up during a busy time 3) You can call in orders ahead of time 4) They take card 5) They don't sell drinks. You'll have to go next door to the Chevron and purchase drinks. Heading over next door does great for killing time until your food is ready. We haven't tried their mariscos as of now, therefore for what we've experienced I can confidently rate them 5 stars.”

“I had the truffle bacon burger... So disappointed. I ate it because it cost $10... Never again definitely not something I'd ask for again. That so-called truffle sauce tasted like white cheddar sauce no flavor. Nothing else. The onion ring strings had a old taste to them. The hype on this is not worth it. I can say the beef patty was good. More and more I am disappointed on how sloppy the burgers are put together. Now the fish sandwich was not a sandwich just a breaded fish fillet slapped into a mayo ? Sauced bun and an ugly piece of lettuce that not even a rabbit would eat. This was one of my favorite places, but since the laziness that has been put into the food. I won't be coming back to any Carl's Jr. Franchises. The fish sandwich was for my boyfriend. For the price payed at this establishment we might as well of gone to a good restaurant out of town.????”

“I was in town for a few days on business with some colleagues and we decided to check this place out since I'm from the south and appreciate good BBQ. It being early in the week it was pretty quiet but Steve still treated us with warm hospitality. I had the trip-tip and my colleague had wings. Great food overall and the house made rub they use was delicious! The restaurant has a spacious outdoor bar/patio area. I wish I would have been in for the weekend because I'm sure the outdoor bar and patio area is a great time. If I'm ever in Merced I'll be visiting again!”
