Food was decent. Kind of bland. Not bad for a quick bite. Waitress was nice and fast.

01/20 Most phenomenal experience. Drove 30 miles to get the best waitress, best food and best bourbon pecan pie ever.
02/25 Going To Capt. Jack's Stronghold Restaurant is a wonderful experience. Everything is locally sourced, for example they will get the potato's from the potato farm and it makes the best fries, the food is wonderfully cooked and the atmosphere is homey and fun.

Awesome little place practically in the middle of nowhere.
The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, the food was excellect with locally sources potatoes for chips and fries, horse radish and homemade bread for buns and rolls, it just doesn't get any better as far as the best of rural home cooked meals and desserts, the prices were great for what we got in this current time....if your in the area and pass it by, you'd have missed out :(.....don't miss out!

Phenomenal food and people. The food was so delicious. Super fresh food that you can tell a lot of passion was put into making it. One of the best restaurants around. From the waitress to the Chef you couldn't ask for a nicer group of people. I love the back room where it's a little private. Make sure you get dessert! The cheesecake and pies are amazing. Can't wait to send all my friends and family there.
