Mogul Restaurant

We got seated right away despite it being pretty busy. The drink options were varied, but neither of our drinks were particularly tasty. But the food was great. If they have the Elk Chops as the special, they were cooked to perfection and the cherry chutney on top was something special. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty.

. . . the owner, Carey Sigman, personifies hospitality to the nines . . . my experience you are greeted with a welcoming smile, the waitstaff ( busboy waiter owner ) come to your table with helpful suggestions, the preparation of meats is personalized . . . the setting is friendly . . . I do miss the salad bar . . . voted the "Best in Mammoth 🦣 Lakes" in years past . . . con una sonrisa

We were recommended mogul from our Airbnb host and we were so happy we did. We walked in without reservation and they took us right in.
From the start out server Leon was amazing. He checked on us and was so friendly. I went with the prime rib and lobster tail...both were amazing and cooked perfectly.
I'll definitely be going again next time I'm in town

My real rating is more of a 4.3

A good place to get steaks if you are in Mammoth. I got the New York Steak and enjoyed it. It could have been better it felt lacking in the seasoning.

The service was great, they gave bread appetizers. The environment of the restaurant felt very welcoming and friendly.

Had very high expectations, but the food was just okay. We ordered grilled chicken, aged Ribeye steak and shrimp. It is comparitively expensive as well. Got seated after few minutes of wait during fourth of July long weekend and the service was good. Overall, Mogul is a decent steakhouse but not for me.
