Sierra Meadows Ranch

Sierra Meadows is perfectly located just a block from town but feels miles away as you stare out at the mountains and surrounding nature. The cabins are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a weekend away. Loved that the property is dog friendly and my dog loved getting to slip and slide in the snow with the other dogs. Dos Alas is also a hidden gem and it’s so nice being able to just walk over for a great dinner. Lastly, Mark is wonderful and so helpful as you prepare for your stay!

Absolutely amazing stay at Sierra Meadows Ranch. The property was gorgeous. The best place we have ever stayed in Mammoth. Each reservation is an individual cabin. No obnoxious neighbors blasting music on the adjacent wall. Check in was a breeze. Was emailed instructions prior to arrival. We arrived, unpacked in the cabin and were on with our adventures! Parking was easy, ample, and not far from the cabin. Dog friendly which is absolutely amazing as we have 2 large dogs. Also- they don't gouge with the pet fee as some places do. The cabin gets nice and warm as it is cold in the winter and plenty of hot water. The main bed is cozy as well as a nice fouton that pulls out to relax and watch some TV after a longs days' snowboarding. All of the essentials needed for a mountain town trip. Mark- our property manager was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly accommodating, lives on site and promptly got us our last minute black passes first thing in the morning so we could enjoy front row parking and front of the line passes. I have stayed at many places in Mammoth through the years and wish I had found this place sooner. There is so much freedom to roam on this property and you do not feel as though your dogs are a burden as with some places I have stayed. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

We stayed art the McGee cabin. Like a tiny home but it was perfect for what we needed - outdoor space for my dog, a TV for streaming access, down the street from Vons, short drive to Eagle Lodge. The views were incredible. It feels like you’re far away from everything. There’s a restaurant walking distance (1-2 minute walk) from our cabin that we didn’t get to try but the menu sounded great.

Our host, Mark, was so kind and helpful - we drove in during snowfall and heavy winds and he gave us status updates on road conditions and helped shovel out snow from our walkway and our car. We loved our stay, especially my dog, and we’d love to return another time.

We loved our time at Sierra Meadows Ranch. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the cabins and loved every minute. The cabin was clean and stocked with linens, towels and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The views of the mountain were spectacular and it was very close to town. Our sleep was uninterrupted as it was very quiet and off the beaten track. We enjoyed taking out dog out for a walk in the snow and at night we could see the milky way and all the constellations in the clear sky. Mark was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had. I highly recommend Sierra Meadows Ranch and if we get up that way again, we will definitely schedule a cabin.

We had a fantastic stay in the Minaret Cabin at Sierra Meadows! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Its on a beautiful ranch surrounded by open space with great views of the mountains, but also in a fantastic location very close to the town, supermarket, restaurants, etc. It was a great situation for our puppy as well. We also enjoyed a great meal at the on-site CubaRican restaurant. The communication with the host was fantastic and he was even nice enough to lend us his VIP parking pass for the slopes for a couple of days. Would highly recommend and would love to come back and stay again sometime! This was much better than the standard condominium stays.
