    First time in this bakery/restaurant. Went for a pastry and had a custard filled sugar donut. Very yummy. Nice staff. Pricey=Big Sur

    This place is a dining staple in Bug Sur. While the entrees are on the pricier side, the quality of ingredients is unparalleled. They always have exceptional specials, so feel confident deviating from the regular menu. The service is with care and interest. The bread -- sweet Jesus -- the bread. Do not miss it.

    My husband and stopped on our way through. We are so glad we did! The coffee and baked goods are delicious! The staff was so nice and owner does such a great job! If you have the opportunity, definitely stop by!

    Located in the most gorgeous location Big Sur Bakery proved to be a special place not to be missed! I was greeted warmly by staff and offered gorgeous pistachio cardamom cake, scones and coffee. I was then given a tour and history of the property by a very charming member of staff. This was one of the treasures of my trip. Thank you! Merci!

    A must stop on any Big Sur excursion! Awesome food. Awesome service. Awesome staff. Get there early to get the good breakfast pastries.
