Food was really fresh and good. I told staff this is my first time being here, she patiently explained how everything works. Also she mixed sauce for me and let me try it. It was a really good experience

They had some great selections for proteins and you can choose white rice, brown rice, salad, or half and half. I had their house sauce, and it tasted great. Fish was fresh.

When you don't want to get burned out on sushi (Sushi Time), you take a break and go to Poke Time! Both restaurants are run by the same owner and, while I visit many restaurants on the peninsula, I find myself returning to these two the most. I've never been disappointed with a meal, the service is excellent and the prices are great. You literally can't make a wrong choice here. Give either one a try and see for yourself. If you find them lacking accept my apologies and maybe try again some other day because it's most likely a fluke.

Poketime has been hit or miss on quality. It's pretty good when you get the fresh stuff, but they're not afraid to serve rice that's been sitting out a little too long and has become hard. The bowls are a good size and they are generous with the toppings you select. There's a selection of canned and bottled soft drinks along with bottles of beer and single serve glasses of sake. The interior is that modern semi industrial steel and wood affair and the tables only offer backless stools to sit on. There's typically some hip indie rock playing and the atmosphere is casual. I would say this is probably the nicest poke place to sit inside in town but not the best poke to eat in town.

This spot is fast and easy, with generous portions of quality food. Similar to buffet style, you have all the options laid out in front of you behind glass and you choose your ingredients with a server.

You don't have to go with spicy, they have Salmon & Yellowtail too. Flavorful additions I add are: Cilantro, Avocado, Ginger, Fish Roe.
