Phil's Fish Market & Eatery

Phil's does definitely have an industrial feel it, which makes sense because it started out being a fish supply place first. Maybe because of this, It's not pretentious in any way, but the food is pretty darn good. Just eating fresh seafood while sitting on benches, Is just fine with me. Their Chipinio is a standout, but it's not cheap. If that doesn't float your boat, there are so many other choices to pick from. Just beware of the parking limitations, because that can easily ruin your day.

Food is amazing, and portions are generous! The line went quickly and service was great! Although prices are a bit high for the freshness of food and portions it’s well worth it! Atmosphere is very casual making the dining experience very relaxed and enjoyable! Definitely a must try!!!

This place has the best, freshest, greatest selection of seafood. Huge menu, quaint atmosphere, huge portions. If you are anywhere near this restaurant. Like within 50 miles, make your way here, you won't be disappointed. Nice spot to stop and eat when driving up the coast.

Great seafood! The line may be long, but it's worth it. Be on the look out for menus while in line, or check out their website for their full menu it will make the visit smoother. They sell buckets, yes buckets, of Crab Cioppino to go! Staff is friendly & helpful. It's a casual atmosphere, but that's what makes it so great. They offer a variety of seating options, and they have a bar. Parking can be bad, but handicap parking is available. My friends and I plan trips to Moss Landing specifically to eat at Phil's Fish Market, enjoy a small beach, look at the otters, and check out all the unique, little shops. But really, the trip is about the food!

Cioppino bowl cost 26.88 with tax comes with salad and garlic bread. Most people would eat this by themselves but it was enough food to feed my mom and I. Crab was a little salty like it was boiled in saline solution but bearable. Soup base was superb. Slightly spicy tomato base soup perfect on a cold day. Reasonable prices. Go for an early dinner around 4:30pm Saturday and cut your wait down to 10 min in line and 10 min for food.
