The food is good, like hommade! Would of given 4☆'s, but service is really laxed! They rarely come around to ask you if you need anything else! They don't have much of a menu, but they did couple months back? New people working the kitchen, new faces, new menu, same owner is there. If your lookin for 5☆ service, this not the place, but way better then eating fast food bar none! ????
Very attentive staff . We had the seafood salad. It was deelicuous. And fish seafood with noodles. Very tasty.
Dinner was amazing really filling ...amazing service great price for the amount they serve... not a lot of foot traffic so you will enjoy your visits......amazing whole in the wall restaurant
Nice small place...
Decided to try this new restaurant for lunch, and ordered a burrito. My wife and I are regulars at Michael's Grill & Taqueria, which is right down the hall from Doña Leo, so I am comparing today's burrito to Michael's.
Doña Leo burrito: Chicken, rice, and refried beans on a large tortilla. Comes with one container of very hot habañero salsa. Chicken is cut into small bite-size pieces and was slightly overcooked and on the dry side. The amount of rice in the burrito was too much. The price of the burrito was $5.95.
Michael's burrito: Chicken, refried OR black beans OR potatoes. Comes with choice of green or red sauce (wet burrito). Chicken is grilled to perfection and always juicy. Large portion of meat; probably about a 70:30 ratio of meat to beans/potatoes Price is $4.96.
Verdict: The Michael's burrito is the better choice; it's a dollar less expensive, comes wet with either green or red sauce, and tastes much better in general, due to seasoning and grilling of the meat.
