El Pollo Rey

My family and I Completely love this place!!! My husband is very picky when it comes to food. So I was a little nervous getting dinner for the family here one day. I decided to go with a half order of chicken, assuming my husband wouldn’t eat it. To my surprise he loved it soo much! We ordered more before they closed that night! And ever since then when I don’t feel like cooking he Always request “El pollo Rey” the staff and owners are very kind and welcoming. The place is always well kept. And the best part is I live one block away! Thank you guys!!!

This place is really good. You walk in and it smells so good. Makes you want to try everything on the menu. The owners are very nice and friendly.

Before I even walked in people were picking up large orders which was a good sign of things to come. As you walk into this place the aroma hits you dead in your face. The lady who took my order was very nice and patient and recommended the amount I needed to feed my hungry family. I took the food home and the aroma you smell is the flavor you get. It was amazing. The chicken was very moist, even the white meat. The rice was pretty good. The refried beans were kinda runny but still good. They do have other beans that I will have to try next time. My family is picky about chicken and loved it. If you are expecting El Pollo Loco then keep driving. This place is in a world of it's own. I can't recommend them enough and I will definitely return.

Delicious chicken at very reasonable prices. We ordered one whole chicken for two and had tons of leftovers. I wish that there were more simple, but excellent restaurants like this. Decor isn't anything fancy but place was very clean. Dark red salsa was excellent.
