Great authentic Mexican food , eat there or to go, great prices

First impression: friendly greeting and customer service. Comfortable and friendly environment. Presentation of food is good and the home made tortillas were good also. I tried the camarones a la diabla. I am used to more spicy, but they were good.

LOS GIRASOLES ( the sunflowers ) Market is more Kitchen than Market!

Thank goodness! This is like a trip down to Mexico, the home made taste and big portions are like little Abuelita is feeding you.

Small place, long tables lined with chairs, maybe 30 chairs. Soft drinks and beers in the coolers. Butchered meats, Mexican cheeses, etc. at the meat counter. Not much else.

Parking is the only challenge here. North end of City of Soledad, along Front Street, next to an old vintage Ace Hardware store.

Once inside, the friendly staff will take your order at the counter ( under big sign *Order aqui'* ) and call you when your delicious plate is ready.

Credit cards accepted.
