Fortune Garden

Delicious food and generous portions. I was happy to order the seafood clay pot which had bay scallops, calamari, shrimp and tofu. Clay pot is hard to find on the menu in many Chinese restaurants in this area and I was not disappointed with Fortune Garden's version. It's a newly opened family-run place and the service was very friendly.

On my next visit I craved wor wonton soup and was so satisfied with all the veggies, chicken and shrimp in the broth which made it a stand alone filling dish. I have a soft spot for fried appetizers and the crab meat fried wontons on the combo platter stood out. I can't wait to try out the other menu items.

On my first visit I had honey walnut shrimp and the portion was so generous that I had enough left over for later. It was my first time at Fortune Garden and I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. The location is right off Highway 101 and whenever I'm traveling through that area of the Central Coast I will make it a point to stop there.

I returned five months later on my way home from camping and once again was so glad I did. I ordered the seafood and tofu clay pot which had shrimp, scallops and calamari. It was absolutely delicious and was so happy to find it on the menu. It's Chinese comfort food and the sauce was so yummy over white rice.

I’ve ordered here twice already and both times the service has been excellent! The young lady that has helped me both times is so sweet and generous! She got me into the sesame balls! I’m obsessed! The food is delicious and affordable. My family and I are so thankful there’s finally a good Chinese food restaurant here in town. I highly recommend!
