Mountain Mike's Pizza

My daughter wanted to check out the new Mountain Mike's so we went for the lunch buffet. We used to go to the one near Target in Vallejo. This one is great and close to where we live. I've never been to ANY lunch buffet that included the gourmet veggie pizza with artichokes on it!!!

This is nicer than your average MM, as it has high ceilings, a nice atmosphere, and several TVs. My pepperoni pizza was typical of MM. The jalapeño poppers are overpriced and my least favorite compared to Jack in the Box, Wienerschnitzel, etc. if the craving was there, I’d probably order from this location again, assuming I’m in the area.

Lastly, when I called in my order for pick up, whoever answered my call had a very low volume. Finally when I was able to hear him at a decent volume, he was unclear to as when he was ready, randomly going in and out of the conversation.

Keep an eye on the other reviews as well - I might have been fortunate with my good experience.

The young lady that helped us was fantastic. She was very helpful and had a vibrant personality. She deserves a raise in my opinion. The food was very good. There Louisiana-hot style sausage was very good. Not too hot, great flavor.

Newest addition to the MM franchise. Staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is a beautiful spot to nosh on some pie! Lunch buffet is perfect, with a well-stocked salad bar, and lots of fresh-out-of-the-oven pizzas to choose from. They have about 8 big screen TVs on the walls and a dozen taps with some really good beer choices, which would make this a great spot to catch a game. Location is right off the highway and an easy in and out. I'll definitely be back when my pizza urge kicks in again!
