Small World Restaurant

The food was very good, but the service was terrible. The place was pretty busy, but our order was not very complicated and it took close to 30 minutes for or food to arrive. They brought us fries, then 5-10 minutes later, the rest of our food. No explanation or apology.

But my gyro was pretty good.

I went here because I read they have gyros. Who knew with a name like Small World they would serve Mediterranean cuisine. It's kind of a cute place with old school Cafe decor. Their service is really nice and friendly. Prices are decent. The Mediterranean fries were very good! A total surprise. Loaded with garlic, spice, and feta cheese. Delish! The lamb gyro was ok. It was large, but seemed to be mostly lettuce & tomato. There was lamb, and it was tasty, but no humus, and the pita was one the those grocery store style pita pocket. Ehh. I'd definitely go back for the fries, and try something else.

Solid food but nothing special. I was disappointed in the pita but the beef gyros was very tasty. I did however love the french fries.

Always friendly and delicious grub. Lots of choices and a tasty pickled vegetable bar as well. The wife and I frequent this place very often.

Family owned restaurant. Table service. No frills decor. Two small dining rooms. Well staffed. Pay at the counter. Self serve drinks (soda and tea). Several beers on tap. Simple menu. The food is good and fairly executed. Portions par. Prices a little less than par for the location. The self serve pickle bar was a nice boutique touch that boosted them to 4 stars.
