Bistro Jeanty

Would you like to try a real homemade french dinner? For me, Bistro Jeanty is the mix of amazing ingredients and way of cooking, super kind and experienced service, and cozy local. Do not hesitate and try it!

Outstanding dinner. Everything you want a French restaurant to be. Service was impeccable and friendly, not stuffy. It was unpretentious and had the vibe of an actual French restaurant in France. Don't miss this experience while in the area.

You will forget about Napa or California or even America. When you are dining at Bistro Jeanty you are, for all intents and purposes, eating in France. It brought me back immediately to meals in Paris and Normandy. The fried smelt takes to a salty French fishing village. The tomato soup reminds you instantly of home.

My god, the tomato soup. I wouldn’t be so overly dramatic as to say it is life changing, but then again, I’m not sure I’m the same person after eating it. It is incredible and absolutely worth a visit- if even just for the soup.

Since this is authentic French cooking, everything is rich and heavy. All of our meal deeply involved heavy fats and lots of creamy, creamy, butter.

My advice: come on an empty stomach, and plan to bring a lot home.

It was relatively expensive - $130 for a meal for two - but worth every cent.

Nice ambience, service, and food. Not inexpensive, but not crazy expensive either. Went for lunch with a friend and we both got their amazing tomato soup and shared a beet salad. After eating those and some complementary bread and butter, we were full and happy.
