Penny's Diner

Took my twins there for their birthday breakfast. Penny's has always been a favorite! My daughter ordered the stuffed French toast.....oh my goodness! The picture is of the strawberry filled, which was good but needed a bit of sugar added to the filling. The waitress brought a sample of their blueberry filling....THAT was heavenly!

Bang for the buck the prices are cheap the food's pretty decent the help is OK not something I would go to multiple times throughout the month but once in a while it's a nice place to go or if you're in a money pension you want to go out have a nice dinner lunch deftly worth going to if your on a money pinch

Portions were generous for the prices, wait staff (Kim) was very accommodating but a tad slow (all). We weren't the only ones waiting for service. Bottom of biscuits were burnt, but fluffy w good flavor, fresh real butter.

Comfort food with very good service. We were camping, so a restaurant breakfast was very appreciated. Love Grass Valley and the down home atmosphere.

When we go visit in Grass Valley, we have eaten there often enough to know they give mighty big portions and very good food. I would recommend going there and give it a try. Good country feel and food!
