Mothers Day brunch was wonderful. Beautiful property. Great food. Professional and very personable staff. Can't wait to get back for dinner. This place is definitely worth the drive.
Wonderful experience at Alexander's! Everything was delicious, service was great. A little pricey but so worth it. Happy to see that location up and running again. We liked Trolly Junction, this is 10X better.
Very attentive staff. I understand the restaurant recently opened with great expense. Now that the restaurant has a solid reputation and solid business it is time to spend some $ on making the place look a bit more finished. Appetizers and salads were excellent. Entrees were solid if uninspired. Dessert was tasty though apple sauce tasted commercial.
Three of us had a great dinner there last night. The Rack of Lamb, Beef Wellington and Venison were all excellent. I've lived in Grass Valley for 20 years and have been to every restaurant there was and is in GV and NC and I rank Alexander's Station in the Top 5. The ambiance, setting, attentive and professional staff are all top notch. One of he owners visited us toward the end of our meal to check on us. While a bit pricey, I think it well in line with the high quality and quantity that one receives. I will return most certainly!
We went to Alexander's Station last night for a birthday dinner and not really sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! Christopher our waiter was great, he even brought out a complimentary dessert with a birthday message for our guest without any prompts. The food was excellent and the waterfall outside the picture window was a beautiful addition. We're excited to have a new place in town to add to our dining roster! But please note, this place has a more traditional, old-school fine-dining vibe. Don't go expecting a hipster eatery with an infusion-type menu, expect classics like beef wellington, venison, rack of lamb, classic white linen table cloths, and decoratively folded cloth napkins. Make sure to order the Maple Candied House Cured Bacon Salad!
