    Soft shell crab! Last night was another fabulous birthday dinner.
    Thanks to hostess Mandy for setting it all up and patiently waiting on us.

    This is an outstanding restaurant in the Nevada City/Grass Valley/Penn valley area...probably the best. Don't be deterred by its location. Zach is a superb chef and comes from working several high end restaurants. Michael is a very friendly and gracious host. Not to be missed are the "Best Damn Soup", dirty smashed fries, and Crispy Braised Pork Belly although all the other menu items are excellent and compare favorably to any restaurant in SF.

    A truly amazing meal. Unique blends of sauces and vegetable purees. Pork belly and the halibut were fantastic. Pricey, but worth it. Best restaurant we've found in the Grass Valley area.

    The food here is consistently delicious! We have shared some of our most favorite meal's here. The staff is gracious, knowledgeable and welcoming. We love Twelve 28 Kitchen ????

    Food was Excellent! I had the steak and my wife had the pork belly. Both were cooked as requested and paired with a nice red wine (cashmere). It took a while for the plates to come out but worth the wait. Very quaint atmosphere also. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through town.
