El Gaucho Meat Market

Love the empanada shells and fresh baked bread .

I visited El Gaucho to buy some meat for my Parillada I'm making. The butchery area looks very clean and well kept. The meats all look fresh, I bought some spare ribs, Morcia, Argentinian Sausage, flap streak and Sweet Breads. I can't wait to grill these puppies. The most expensive meat was the Spear ribs. I got 4 for $32. But they are thick and meaty.

I also bought beef and chicken Empanadas. They were delicious. I actually liked the chicken more. The Chimichuri is actually really good. Garlicky, Oily..... delicious.

I will be back to visit my Friends at El Gaucho.

Nice little market. Excellent empanadas. They have beef, chicken, spinach, ham/cheese, and tuna. They are pretty cheap so get yourself 3. Make sure you grab a jar of chimichurri!!!

The fries were great too. Nice spot.

This is a great meat market if you are looking for Argentine meat cuts. It’s the only place I know in Orange County that has Brazilian style picanha. Their meat is very good quality and I highly recommend to try them. When I do doubt ask the person behind the counter in how to cook specific meat cuts or simply YouTube search them. The little shop beside it makee amazing food too.

Love the store! It's always clean and I could find the products I need to cook. South American products for the most part, excellent!
