Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles

I came here and my service during, before and after was excellent. My server was great! The food was excellent, especially the waffle! I needed a reprint of my receipt and Justine was awesome! My request threw off the check out process but she was kind, helpful, and patient despite being frustrated because my request sent the system into a tailspin. I will definitely be back! It's rare to find good food and service to match ????

Food was very good. Waffle was one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was fairly dry in the middle because it was so big, which is the only reason for 4 stars, but it was still very delicious. Service was also good. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The service we received here was top notch. Everyone from our host, to our server (pretty sure his name was Levi), to the gentlemen who brought our drinks to us, were all so upbeat even though we came 30 min before close so I am sure they were tired! The food was piping hot when it came out and the wait time was very short. My husband and I both ordered the #1 which is 1/4 chicken and the 2 waffles. Don’t be afraid to get 2 waffles- they are a bit on the thin side. The chicken- fried to perfection, the breading was so good and honestly I am not usually a big fan of fried chicken because I am picky about breading. The waffles were really great too, the only thing I might to differently next time is ask them to leave the waffle in for a little bit longer so it is a bit more on the firm/crispy side. No stars deducted for that because that is a matter of preference and an easy fix next time. As we were eating the waffles, we were trying to guess which spice(s) they use in their batter. I think I taste quite a bit of nutmeg- not sure if there is cinnamon in there.... whatever they are doing, these waffles are on POINT. We will be back soon to review different items!

I had a five star experience. Comfort food. Great cook on the chicken. Good waffles. Solid service by Levi.

For a decent sized meal it is about $14 a plate which is more than I was expecting to pay. But my tummy is full and I am happy.

I love the food. Excited they opened in Anaheim. Hats off to the chefs! Remember management treat your staff well. They work hard to keep the customers happy. Always run the restaurant professionally, and respect the employees, and reward them frequently.
