Baci Italian restaurant

As this restaurant is very close to where I work it's a perfect place for the different sales people that call on me to go to lunch. In fact I go there periodically with family and friends for dinner. There is nothing else like it in the neighborhood and the food is great. I've come to know the owner and his attitude and service is hard to beat, not to mention his amazingly good wine selection. They can be guilty, like most nice restaurants, of going over board with cream and butter in some of their sauces. Of course they will make anything to order and you can add or subtract as you wish.

I would give the food 3.5 stars but due to the long wait for good, I'm removing 1 star. We were seated at 7pm. By 8pm, our entree still have not arrived. This is after the server told us our food is coming up 15 minutes ago. We ordered the garlic bread. It was just okay. The lobster bisque was a major disappointment! Instead if lobster chunks, they put sausage chunks in it. The lobster risotto was good! The crepes was just so-so in my opinion. I would say the only the desserts were at par. Overall, it's a decent and cozy place but I wouldn't visit again if I don't already have a reservation.

Definitely a 5 Star experience.
Make sure you have reservations. If you don't, you will be standing outside in the cold hoping someone eats quickly.

Now for some people, you may feel a bit pressured when the staff stop by your table to see if you are ready to order. By the third walk by, the staff realized we were not in a hurry and they stopped asking us.

Every one that worked at the restaurant was kind and had an ability to make you feel like they were the family that owned the place.
One gentleman took time to stop and talk to you, even make jokes so that you would feel welcome and relaxed. I won a kiss on the cheek when I asked if he would just read me the menu, his tone of voice and accent melted your heart.

Every meal was well presented, had an abundance of flavor and was proportioned adequately.

I would highly recommend coming here for a special dinner with someone close to your heart. Don't forget to make your reservations. Because, honey, it's cold outside.

Good ambiance. Delicious food. Courteous professional Italian staff. Look to spend 100-200 for a couples dinner (depending if you want wine or not). Highly recommended

We ate at this restaurant several times and food was top notch evey time. Although slightly more expensive the portions were very generous and cuisine is authentic Italian. The ambience and furnishings are every comfortable. Choice of casual dining sitting in comfy lounge chairs or more intimate dining towards the back part of the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and the host was very friendly. Highly recommended
