We stopped in here tonight. We had no expectations and we were very impressed. The rice, lamb , chicken were delicious. The server was friendly although it would have been nice to have him stop by our table more often and bring the check. ( maybe that is Middle Eastern culture ) it wasn’t a big deal and we will definitely be back. The food was awesome!
We've lived in L.A. for almost 10 years and we were always searching for a Yemeni place to get that authentic flavor we love. We FINALLY found it. If you know the cuisine, this place is a must! If you've never tried Yemeni food, this is the place to go! The Experience is one of a kind. Decorations and music are amazing. All of it just adds to the marvel of this restaurant. Don't be scared, check it out!
One of the best restaurants I have seen in my whole USA lifetime. I am from Afghanistan, and I have gone to different countries restaurants and tries the food, but food here is extraordinary. I just loved it I highly recommended this for all my Asian brothers and sisters, and the most important is that is halal restaurants. Thank you for the great service I and my family really love it. Of course we will come anytime we are carving outside foods.
Great experience! We ordered a combination of chicken, lamb, and beef for 3 people. This is not for the faint of heart! 6 people can easily dine on the amount of food that was brought out.
Onto the flavor. Just incredible! The meat literally comes off the bone with a small shake. The meat is tender, flavorful, and with a hint of Yemeni spices that isn't at all overpowering. Melt in your mouth goodness!
If you have a group, do ask to be seated in the authentic Arabic style low to the ground booths. This just adds to the authenticity and a small wow factor for those from the western hemisphere.
We're looking to come back with a larger group next time.
