Jimmy's Famous American Tavern

Out initial experience left little 2 b desired. Initially we were ignored n bypassed 4 assistance at the reservation desk. We had a reservation n we were on time. We asked 2 b seated at a booth, and were then asked 2 move 4 another party. We expressed our discontent n they finally left us there. Hence the 3 stars. Luckily our server Ivy was great and so was the food.

What a fun place. And such a diverse menu! Our table had the beef dip, fried Chicken, Jimmy Burger, and vegetarian salad & clam chowder. Desert- "Old School" .... Ice cream with lots of goodies. We all shared and there is nothing I wouldn't order again. Wonderful staff, never had to wait or ask twice. Helpful, fun and not pushy. Nice selection of beers & wine. They even carry an Opus (out of my league but impressive nevertheless).

The restaurant has a cool casual atmosphere with a unique modern decor. It's a great place for any occasion. The food and drinks are always good. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It comes with two huge tender, juicy and crispy breast that were cooked to perfection. The side of french fries were crispy and delicious. My server was also the bartender and the blackberry bourbon lemonade she made was awesome. Her service was on point and she made sure we had a great dining experience!!

I enjoyed my meal here. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Will definitely come back for more! I enjoyed the short rib stroganof which had fresh noodles and flavorful, tender short ribs. My husband had the fried chicken and that was super tasty. Their flat bread and meatballs which were delicious.
