Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai - Buena Park

I previously gave Kitakata 4 stars because my past self was young and naive. This is the only ramen place I go to now. No joke. I stopped going to other places or trying new spots because they simply don't compare to this place. I love how it fills me up and at the same time it feels light. It is a little bit more expensive than other places, that's if you want to add things to it but it is worth it. Your belly will be pleased. The fried chicken is good and depending on the day the spicy rice is spicy. The waiters are very nice and although I am an inverted person, I kind of like when they greet me when I come in and say bye when I leave. It makes me feel like if I'm home, probably because I go there all of the time. You have to come early if you don't want to wait too long. They open for dinner at 5pm and lunch at 11am. The parking is always full close by so I suggest dropping someone off in the front so that they can out your names down. You won't be seated if everyone is not there. The place is small so... Expect a wait time when it's busy.

Very similar taste with Kitakata in Japan. Maybe more meats (pork chashu) in US? Also no fried rice in the menu.

It's a really good Ramen place but I'd recommend going else where if you only eat Ramen every once in a while. The broth is very basic and clear kind of compares to chicken noodle soup-ish. I tried their signature dish which is the Kitakata. I kind of wish I went for the Spicy Ramen. I recommend places with more broth options.

First time here and I loved it! Everyone is very nice here. After our waiter took our order and went off my friend realized she should have ordered an egg and I sort of wanted one too. When he came back she asked for one and luckily he asked of I wanted one too. I would have been too embarrassed to ask! Glad he asked haha!
